The Ortho Classic brand uses a proprietary process of metal injection molded (MIM) nickel-free components to create extremely high quality brackets, buccal tubes, lingual tubes and self-ligating systems.

Self-Ligating Bracket Ortho Classic's flagship is the Axis Self-Ligating Bracket (SLB) System designed by Harvard-trained orthodontist, Dr. James TenBrook. The Axis System uses MIM to create a low profile, low force system that improves treatment times by up to 50%. The Axis System was designed with both the patient and the doctor in mind.
